Fishing Camp 

Fishing Camp is going to be a blast! While we will have HOURS to go fishing (and maybe win some competitions), we will also have some applicable fishing skills lessons to help you become a master angler. We will also learn about concepts in conservation through some hands-on activities designed to make conservation applicable to campers. Lastly, we make time to talk about the important life lessons that fishing teaches us!

Fishing Camp MN costs $200 per camper. As a non-profit, we work hard to keep costs accessible so that every young person who wants to experience the outdoors has the opportunity to attend. If cost is a barrier, reach out through our Contact page — we want to make it work for every family.

Anyone going into 6th grade -12th grade can attend Fishing Camp! Sign up by yourself, or get a group of friends to come!

Heck yea! Anglers of all levels are invited to attend fishing camp!

You are more than welcome to bring your own equipment, even a kayak or canoe! Just know that CAMPERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IT!

A packing list will be sent out via for each camp! Basic necessities include - Water - Sunscreen - Lunch/Snacks - Any fishing gear you want to bring (Materials will be provided, and Campers are responsible for their own materials) - A good attitude!

As a non-profit, Fishing Camp MN depends on the generosity of donors and community supporters to keep our programs free for youth. Donations of any size make a real difference. Please bring your own lunch! We do not serve any food at fishing camp...YET

We offer DAY camps, not overnight (yet). Most 2-3 day camps will begin each morning at 8am, and conclude that evening at 4pm

Yes, Fishing Camp MN is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations to Fishing Camp MN are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.

It depends! Not every camp will be at the same location - so sign up to fish at the spot you want to be!
